Great about HK
Do you know what is great about Hong Kong? Unlike in England you hardly ever get approached and harassed by charity muggers (chuggers) or any other type of sales person in the street. This is because they can rarely speak English, and if they can speak English, you just pretend you are French!
what about the idiots on the mainland who kept annoying us with info about tailors etc.... i thought dad was going to lay one of them out they pestered so much, or have they now gone after we told the tourist board. x
Violent nutcase here, you should get back on to the tourist board as they promised they were going to do something about that lot at the end of Nathan Rd.
tailor touts....that would be....taits? Just say "mm sai la" folks. We're on the peak waiting for dark....it's 2.30 now. Ha Ha Actually had a (short) conversation with a shop assistant at the chi lin nunnery IN CANTONESE!!! And when I said mm goy my dan in the nunnery cafe a woman who turned out to be living in Canada (imagine all those stereotypical Chinese comedy characters on US TV wrapped into one) said "Oh you very good" Then got a chance to practise my numbers. I'm also driving Sam mad by repeating "Tsing man cow gun see moon" which is what "mind the doors" sounds like to me! Right it's 2.38 what time does it get dark? Love Dave/Dad xxxx ooer the next bits in chinese!

You make dad sound like a violent nut case! And yes the annoying tailor touts are still in Kowloon.

It gets dark at about 6.30 I think at the moment. But I can never fully tell because the windows in my office are tinted.
I love it that you are in Hong Kong and still leaving comments on the blog Dave :)
I'm in Hong Kong? I only popped out for a take-away! Dave
