Saturday morning at work
Yesterday morning a bunch of us were working at a friends school helping to run an English funfair. We had ten stalls which all required students to answer some questions in English before they could play. Running the stalls were older students called English Ambassadors. About two weeks before the event myself and Hannah (the girl who works at the school) trained the ambassadors up to run the games. It all went really smoothly and by the end of the day we were proud of our little English Ambassador Team (EAT), they did really well, especially as it was very very hot and sunny (i got a bit burnt).
Me and some of the English Ambassador Team practicing/posing ready for the onslaught of students to come
Robyn wearing her standard issue company TShirt
Rob practicing her chopstick talents
Anyone for throwing a frisbee at a dinosaur?
Another game, another silly pose
Me thanking the amazing EAT team at the end of the 5 hour fair
Once the students started to arrive and play the games the opportunities to take pictures vanished quite quickly. It was surprisingly good fun though and I think Robyn liked getting to see another school other than her own.

well done both of you. It must be strange in the run up to Christmas being in the sunshine again ben.Are you all having turkey?
Rob - Have you got braids in your hair or is my computer playing up again? The sunshine looks great! Where are all the chavy kids running around making a nuisance of themselves? As for turkey...do you want the xmas loaf recipe? (It's quite tricky!)

and even trickier to eat with chopsticks! We'll have a go this year so that we can share your cultural experience. Might be tricky with the gravy though......
No braids - are you sure it's the computer and not your eyesight? As for xmas loaf as we don't have an oven I think we'll be eating out this xmas...I've tried to convince Andy and Adam to have noodles but they don't seem that keen (actually they threatened not to come) R x
It's the computer - honest. On the pic of you by the stall it looks like braids/crimps until I enlarged it. As for xmas lunch noodles don't seem very xmassy. In Portugal all the veggie places did some thing (sic)(sic2) called SEITAN which is basically pressed gluten giving it a sort of meaty texture. Bet you're ALL salivating now! Or can you get Quorn?
Rob - check e-mail and reply ASAP
Love

Right I have looked in to these hairy crabs... it would appear the hair comes right off when they are cooked (How nice) In truth as far as crabs go they are kinda cute (Before all their hair falls out... they are pretty standard after that!) I know this has nothing to do with this specific section of your blog but I feel you passed over the hairy crab far too quickly... In fact I think hairy crab would make a wonderful christmas dinner...for you lot, Im happy with turkey... x
