Avenue of Stars

The avenue of stars is a new(ish) Hong Kong tourist attraction which celebrates Asian media celebrities. Here are some snaps.

It needs to be said that Robyn was jumping during the taking of this photo. That explains why she looks a little stranger than usual.

Jackie Chan, one of the only celebrities we actually recognized.

Robyn in the directors chair

And me behind the camera.

And lastly Bruce Lee, he may look ready for action but he is currently unable to stop the occasional sparrow from pooing on him.
I leave tomorrow for England! (apparently the weather is going to be horrible)

Hang on....scarves? jackets? What's going on? Actually it's brass monkeys here now and set to get worse. Hopefully it'll be back to full on troppo there by the time we arrive at Easter.

Hi Dad/Dave and Samb, Bens parents here. Its really quite warm out there 18/20 degrees but to them its cold. You definately will not need scarves by Easter. Best deal hotels we got was www.cheaphotels.co.uk Ramada hotel cost double ensuite £35 approx per night for the 2 of us. By far the best deal and nice hotel, everything changed each day. Cannot see us setting up a blog, not into computers enough. Lama island one of our favourite places, great for trekking and veggie food, and found a place to sit and have a beer for 6 HK dollars (46p), Hope you enjoy as much as us, will not advise on anything else except for the need for an octopus card each... Robyn will explain. Have fun.....

Can't wait! Lama sounds perfect for us, I could do with the exercise so we'll pack our boots.

Read Andy's blog to see how the chap was getting on. Left a message and then realised I can't publish it cos I don't know the username/password for our blog site....

anyway, Andy, if you're reading this, this one's for you....

Hi Andy

Looks like you're having a fab time, despite the work. Dave will be gutted when he sees the surfing piccies, and the stunning beaches. Just like Devon......but warmer.

Don't forget to bring the photo album round when you finally get back to Blighty.
